The Vampire Diaries Season 8 is currently on a holiday break but the show is set to return this week. When the show returns, the group will be facing another trouble as Damon (Ian Smerhalder) is set to kill all of his loved ones and the twins were kidnapped by the Sirens.

According to Breathe Cast, the official synopsis for The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 6 reveals that Damon is still under Sybil's (Nathalie Kelley) control and now, he does not only seek to kill his brother but also everyone he has ever known and care about.

In the new teaser video for the episode, Damon can be seen setting up a trap to lure his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley). Will Stefan survive Damon's attack and protect his loved ones before Damon tries to kill them as well?

While Damon is on the mission to kill everyone, the twins will become the focus of the Sirens' plans. With that, the character of Seline is said to be introduced in The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 6.

According to Vine Report, Caroline (Candice King) and Alaric's (Matt Davis) will realize that the twins are missing. The synopsis revealed that Caroline will try everything in her power to keep her family away from her, most especially her children.

It was said that the Sirens, Seline (Kristen Gutoskie) and Sybil are planning to offer Aracadius, also known as Cade (Wole Parks) a deal so that they can get out of their original deal with the devil. It was earlier reported that Seline sees the twins as a reminder of their childhood as she is also Sybil's twin. Is she planning to offer the twins to Cade, or will she use the twin's power for another purpose?

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 6 titled "Detoured on Some Random Backwoods Path to Hell" will air on The CW on Dec. 2.
