Beyonce Knowles has revealed that she sings to her daughter, Blue Ivy in her "mommy voice."

The 31-year-old Love on Top singer who is currently on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, admitted that she doesn't use her normal powerhouse performance voice when she sings nursery rhymes to her 16-month-old daughter.

In an interview on the UK TV show Daybreak, the singer said:

"I do but I have a mommy voice. I keep my Beyonce voice for the stage and I have my simple mommy voice."

Knowles said her decision was inspired by singer Celine Dion who admitted that her voice made one of her sons cry.

"I remember hearing a story about Celine Dion and she was like, 'When I sing, I don't know if it was her son, cried.' And that's so interesting she has the most beautiful voice in the world and she's like, 'He hates it.' So I say well maybe I'll just give a little simple nursery rhyme voice to my daughter," Knowles explained in the video below.

Knowles who is starring in Epic, a 3D adventure comedy in which she plays Queen Tara also revealed her feelings on what it's like to really be Beyonce, revealing that it is a lot of pressure.

"I have my company and I am a businesswoman and I have a lot of people that you know I'm responsible for but at the end of the day I make my decisions based on my heart. 'I can handle it.. at least most of the time," she said.

Knowles also said that she is aware that a lot of people look up to her as a role model and hopes to keep them proud.

"There's a lot of people look up to me and I do respect that. Especially women I feel we need each other so much and we need to know how powerful we are,' she said.

Enstars reported that earlier this week, the singer who is rumored to be pregnant with her secongt with husband penned an apology to fans after she cancelled a tour stop in Belguim, due to sickness. It is the first time Knowles has cancelled a concert in her entire career.
