One of the most anticipated of which will be the next generation Samsung Galaxy flagships, the Galaxy S8.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is still considered to be one of the best Android smartphones available in the market today. With the year coming to a close, tech fans are now looking forward to the next generation smartphone offerings that will be released next year.

Samsung latest flagship is rumored to be coming out sometime in April, shortly after the 2017 Mobile World Congress (MWC) event. There is currently no official announcements yet regarding the design, specs, and features of the device, which has now resulted in wild speculation that are trying to predict its different details.

A recently uncovered render of the possible look of the Samsung Galaxy S8, as discovered by BGR, now shows fans a glimpse of what the new smartphone may look like. While the render itself showcases the next generation device to be quite the stunner, it doesn't really jive with the current reports regarding the possible design and hardware that would likely end up on the actual phone.

The render, which was originally posted on the Chinese website Weibo and published on Gizmo China, predicts that the Galaxy S8 might have smaller bezels that its predecessor. Xiaomi has however already showcased its take on the  bezel-less smartphone design through their previously released Xiaomi Mix smartphone.

It would then be safe to assume that Samsung will likely follow this trend and come up with a bezel-less design device themselves. Apple is also even rumored to incorporate a bezel-less design language on their next iPhone, which means that Samsung would be the odd one out if it does produce a phone with relatively large bezels.

The render also only shows a rather bland rear panel, that apparently only has one camera. In contrast, the upcoming new Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a dual camera system, which is quickly becoming a standard in flagship smartphones.

Also, if the company does go with a truly bezel-less design for Samsung Galaxy S8, it will likely transfer the device's home button at the back panel, similar to the Google Pixel and the LG V20. This particular possibility is unfortunately not on the render as well.
