'Love And Hip-Hop Atlanta' 2013 Season 2 Ep. 5: Lil Scrappy Erica Dixon Split After Flirty Text Messages (PREVIEW VIDEO)

The saga between Erica Dixon and Lil' Scrappy's relationship comes to an end in episode 5 of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta  season 2.

In a drama-filled episode 3, Dixon pushed and shoved her fiancée and had an expletive-filled argument with his mother. Scrappy forgave her, which led to his mother's disappointment in episode 4.

In Monday's episode, Dixon has decided to end their engagement. In the preview clip for episode 5, set to air on May 20, Dixon explained in her on-camera confessional why she decided to end things.

"When I told Scrappy that I wanted to pump the breaks on our wedding, I was thinking it was just another bump on the road and...I'm realizing that it's not," she said.

Dixon explained that when her fiancé was in bed sleeping, his phone was buzzing constantly and questionable text messages began to appear on his phone's screen.

"'What you doin? where you at? I miss you...good seeing you,'" the messages read on his phone, according to Dixon. "If there was someone else without a history of cheating maybe I could brush it off... but not Scrappy."

When Dixon inquired about the text messages, Scrappy denied he was seeing someone else and said she took the messages out of context because she had trust issues.

"Once you go looking for something you gon' find it," Scrappy told Dixon. "Even before you (saw) the texts in my phone you had the trust issue."

"How can I trust you and build trust in you when I see what I see in your phone?" she asked. "It's an emotional roller coaster," she said.

"I know love ain't the easiest thing in the world," Scrappy said, to which Dixon replied, "and it isn't supposed to be the hardest either."

"I've taken (the engagement ring) off and I haven't put it back on," she said as she pointed to her ring finger. "Our relationship has fallen apart, let me be straight up, we need a break."

Episode 5 of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta season 2 premieres on Monday at 8/7 p.m. Central on VH1. Watch the preview clip for episode 5 below.
