It seems that Microsoft Corporation will be unveiling another handset next year to give clamor of its fans. Dubbed as Microsoft Surface Phone 2017, the said device is anticipated to make its first appearance on Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 to be held on February 27 to March 2.

Mobile & Apps has learned that Microsoft has launched a web page wherein important MWC visitors and partners can organize a meeting with the American multi-national company during the gathering in Barcelona.

Lots predictions about the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 release date have surfaced all over the wire. But then tech enthusiasts suggest that Microsoft is not yet ready to release the much-awaited handset.

This was maybe because even the Surface Pro line has been a huge success; Microsoft has been unable to get into the global smartphone market. This may be due to the lack of a developer's favored Android and iOS operating systems on its smartphones. Nonetheless, it seems that everything will change in 2017as Windows Phone-based smartphones will be conquering the center stage.

When it comes with the features and specs, International Business Times noted that the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 will be engineered with Intel Kaby Lake chipset. This upcoming handset might also boast a 20MP rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss lens and Surface Pen.

The Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 might also arrive in three variants, one will be a consumer model, another is a business model, and lastly an "enthusiast" model. Speculations also suggest that the Surface Phone 2017 could have a 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM option and a 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM option.

With the above mentioned specs and features it seems that the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 can battle out against the upcoming Android and iOS phones. Moreover, there is no available information about the possible price of the upcoming handset from Microsoft.
