Christmas hasn't been something that many in Genoa City are still looking forward to after a lot of drama affecting their personal lives, but a Christmas miracle could in fact be in the works to make the holidays good again on The Young and the Restless.

Things were looking grim for the Newmans because it is the first Christmas they'll be celebrating without Adam, which is going to be hard on Victor (Eric Braden), but especially difficult on his wife Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) and their son Connor.

The season will also be hard for Billy (Jason Thompson), who had hoped he might reconcile with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) by now, and be with her and their kids, something his mother Jill (Jess Walton) will be appalled by, since she can't believe he isn't with his kids at all.

"You should be with your kids," she says in a preview clip for the Friday, Dec. 23 episode.

"I was actually hoping for a Christmas Miracle," he replies.

However, the two people who are feeling the most down-trodden this Christmas are Sharon (Sharon Case) and Dylan (Steve Burton), who are not only still dealing with the sadness of losing Sully (who was really Christian), but also now losing Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) as well, since the little girl was sick of them fighting with Nick (Joshua Morrow), and wound up asking to live with Victor and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for the time being.

However, the two may wind up getting a Christmas miracle of their own after all-as Nick shows up at their door with Christian in his arms, and will allow them to have a Christmas visit with the boy who was previously raised as their son.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
