He thought he may still have some chance at winning her back, but Bill (Don Diamont) will be in for a major shock when he goes to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) for another chance on The Bold and the Beautiful.  

Bill figured that despite her pull to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), she would still be able to be convinced to reunite with the man she called her Stallion, and who she had claimed to always love, even when her claims led to the end of his marriage to her sister. But when he gets to Brooke's house, he will instead be greeted with a surprise that will definitely dampen his Christmas spirit-an engagement ring on her finger that Ridge gave her-none other than Stephanie's own ring.

"Forrester couldn't get that ring on your finger fast enough," he says in a preview clip for the Thursday, Dec. 22 episode.

Brooke will apologize to him because she knows that she's hurt him, especially since she stalled so many times in him when it came to them making good on their own recent engagement and actually getting married.

"I hate that I've let you down," she says.

However, even though he knows she now intends to live the rest of her life with Ridge, Bill won't let up so easily, questioning if Brooke's decision is one she is really making with her heart, or if she's only doing it because she knows it's what Ridge and R.J. (Anthony Turpel) want, and she's simple doing what she thinks will make them happy.

"If you're not following your heart, then what else is there Brooke?" He asks in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
