President Barack Obama is delivering his farewell address Tuesday night, and here's how you can can watch his final words online.

It's been an amazing eight years for some, and a long eight years for others, but the Obama legacy is officially coming to an end over the next few days. President Obama is set to give his final address to America Tuesday evening at the McCormick Place convention center in Chicago, where the president began his career in politics.

"For Michelle and me, Chicago is where it all started. It's the city that showed us the power and fundamental goodness of the American people," Obama wrote on Facebook recently. "It's easy to lose sight of that in the blizzard of our minute-to-minute Washington news cycles. But America is a story told not minute to minute, but generation to generation," he went on. "We've made America a better, stronger place for the generations that will follow. We've run our leg in a long relay of progress, knowing that our work will always be unfinished."

Obama's speech begins at 9 p.m. ET and is set to air on CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox and PBS, as well as the major cable news networks. His speech is expected to last about 30-40 minutes.

If you can't watch Obama's speech on television, the White House website has a free live stream beginning at 9 p.m., which you can find right here. It will also be available on the White House Facebook page at the same time.
