NBC's crime thriller television series, The Blacklist, is taking a short break as the episode following to last week's episode 11 will be aired next month. Fans are going to have to wait a few more days but the excitement on what happens on the twelfth episode is still there.

According to Screener TV, the case featured on the previous episode was top-notch. It featured a team with all-female thieves whose jobs are to steal only from criminals. Special Agent Elizabeth 'Liz' Keen, portrayed by actress Megan Boone, was the one who infiltrated the team of female thieves and is asked to go undercover to halt them as they prepare for their next robbery attack.

Also featured on the previous episode was Raymond 'Red' Reddington's (James Spader) struggle as someone infiltrated on his operation on the organization. Several speculations suggest that Red is going to find out in the upcoming episode and will take his revenge on the one that has been getting into his operation.

According to a report from Carter Matt, the upcoming episode is going to more interesting as Red will be having a revenge regarding on the infiltration that happened on his operation. As per the source, Red, as the main character of the series, has always been serious about things like this, so it should be looked forward by fans on the next episode of The Blacklist.

The official promo released by the NBC network also reportedly suggests that Tom Keen, portrayed by Ryan Eggold, will be hired by Red to help him solve the problems on his operations. It hinted that the covert operative will be a big part in Red's revenge.

The synopsis for episode 12 reads as follows: "The Task Force chases an elusive assassin who kills by imparting a fatal disease on her victims. Meanwhile, Red (James Spader) enlists Tom (Ryan Eggold) for an undercover operation inside his criminal organization."

Meanwhile, on a report from Cinema Blend, it was reported that the NBC series is presently facing cancellation rumors. This is because apparently, the show's fourth season has gained less viewers compared to the previous seasons of the series. Fans are worried that the show might not be renewed for a brand new season anymore.

However, this has not yet been confirmed nor denied by the network, so fans are positive that the series will continue to air on televisions. The Blacklist season 4 episode 12 is scheduled to air on February 2, 2017.
