It had been announced that Yvonne Strahovski would be making her return to Dexter's eighth season to reprise her role as female killer and former Dex (Michael C. Hall) flame, Hannah Mckay.  However, many viewers are still wondering just how her character will be worked into the Showtime series' final installment.

In a recent interview with Yahoo! TV, Strahovski spoke about her character's future, saying that she was afraid to even ask about how Hannah will ultimately end up.

"I kind of chose not to ask what was going to happen with [Hannah]. ... I personally don't know what the character's fate will be.  I think I'm almost too scared to ask. Part of me doesn't want to spoil the surprise," she explained.

Season 7 saw Dexter making the difficult decision to side his sister Deborah (Jennifer Carpenter) over Hannah. To top it off, Dex even had her arrested for attempting to kill Deb, but still went to visit his lover in prison.

Showtime's Dexter is set to make its return on Sunday, June 30 at 9/8c.
