'Humans' Season 2: How To Live Stream AMC Premiere, Carrie-Anne Moss Debut [VIDEO]
Humans season 2 premieres Monday night on AMC, picking up where last season left off with Niska (Emily Berrington) still possessing the consciousness code.
Humans is back for its second season tonight on AMC, with the addition of an intriguing new cast member - Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix). Moss is set to play Dr. Athena Morrow, an A.I. expert who is hoping to make her own machine consciousness.
Season 2 will start off many months following the season 1 finale, with Mia (Gemma Chan), Leo (Colin Morgan) and Max (Ivanno Jeremiah), all looking to find meaning in the world as they remain unaware of Niska's location. Meanwhile, Joe (Tom Goodman-Hill) and Laura (Katherine Parkinson) are simply hoping to work on their marriage.
"As unconfirmed reports of synths behaving inexplicably surface, the ripple effect of one simple yet seismic decision sees the past return dramatically and surprisingly to the door of the Hawkins house," says AMC. "Joe, Laura and the entire family are faced with a difficult choice that will put the family under an intense spotlight. As an emerging form of intelligent life - the synths - and an established one - humanity - fight for their places in the world, a thrilling multi-stranded narrative evolves which continues to ask: who has the right to determine what it means to be alive?"
Humans season 2 premieres at 10 p.m. ET/PT on AMC. Those who cannot watch it on television but still want to watch the premiere live, AMC has a live stream on its website. However, you'll need to sign in with your cable subscription information. For cord-cutters, AMC is also available on the Sling TV app, through the Sling Orange and Sling Blue plans.
