In "Criminal Minds" Season 12, Episode 15, Dr. Spencer Reid, played by Matthew Gray Gubler, will be seen going to the prison on charges of murder. And, the worst part is that the BAU team will not be able to prevent this from happening to the team's genius.

"Criminal Minds" Season 12, Episode 15, titled "Alpha Male," will have the resident genius of the BAU going behind the bars. The charges levied on him include heroin possession, a high-speed car change and also murder, TV Guide reported. Moreover, the BAU team will not be able to stop this from happening to Reid as he made an illegal trip to Mexico.

Reid's trips were to get experimental drugs for his mom from Rosa Medina, who is a doctor. But, Rosa will be stabbed to death in the motel room where they met and he will be charged with her murder. Moreover, he will also be drugged, so he will not clearly remember how things took shape in "Criminal Minds" Season 12, Episode 15.

In the prison, Reid will meet a new acquaintance, Calvin Shaw, a former FBI agent, charged with the killing of one of his informants. The character will be played by guest star, Harold Perrineau. According to reports from CBS, Harold Perrineau will be seen making recurring appearances in the show after his first appearance in "Criminal Minds" Season 12, Episode 15.
