Actress Alyssa Milano has been tapped to host the third edition of Lifetime's Project Runway: All Stars, The Hollywood Reporter reported Monday.

She will join the judging panel with the two returning judges - designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman of Marchesa - when the show begins production in New York City in June. Models Angela Lindvall and Carolyn Murphy hosted the first two editions of Project Runway: All Stars.

The long-running fashion competition show's spinoff allows fan favorites who did not win their respective seasons to return for another shot. The first two seasons were won by season 8 runner-up Mondo Guerra and season 9 seventh-place designer Anthony Ryan Auld.

Milano has previous experience in the design world. Her mother Lin was a designer and the actress runs her own clothing and jewelry line called Touch by Alyssa Milano, which features sporting apparel made specifically for women.

She also have previous experience working with the Lifetime network, starring in the television movies Sundays at Tiffany's and Wisegal. Milano acted as the producer of the latter movie.

The hosting gig is only one of the projects Milano is currently involved in. She will also star in the new ABC drama Mistresses, which will premiere on ABC Monday. The show is based on a British series and focuses on four women and their "scandalous lives..." as they walk "[their] own path to self-discovery," according to the show's official synopsis.

Milano began on television as an adolescent on Who's The Boss and later starred in long-running drama Charmed. She also appeared on comedies My Name Is Earl and Romantically Challenged. She also wrote the 2009 book Safe at Home: Confessions of a Baseball Fanatic, which chronicled her devotion to the sport.

Season 3 of Project Runway: All Stars is set to air in the fall.
