ABC's reality dance competition series, "Dancing With The Stars" season 24 comes back on televisions this week and viewers will get to see another set of new performances from their beloved stars. The series just started its new season a week ago and things are already getting exciting.

However, one of the unexpected things to happen on the premiere of "Dancing With The Stars" season 24 was the judges scoring one dance with 4s. To top that, three of the four judges each scored a 4 (Julianne Hough, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli), while Carrie Ann Inaba scored a 5. The two who got these scores are Witney Carson and Chris Kattan, on their first dance performance of Cha-cha-cha.

As noted by Buddy TV, there have been a few instances before that pairs got scores lesser than 5 like what happened on the previous episode of "Dancing With The Stars" season 24. As per the source, a total of 41 pairs have scored a 4 or less from the judges. Because of what happened with Witney and Chris, many viewers are speculating that the pair would not last long in the competition.

However, it has been reported that there were instances before that low-scoring pairs still made it to top 5 at most. This would mean that there's still a chance for the pair to avoid early eliminations on "Dancing With The Stars" season 24 if they would succeed on their upcoming routines.

Meanwhile, just recently, it has been reported that one competitor is going to miss out on this week's performances on "Dancing With The Stars" season 24. According to E! News, Latin ballroom champion, Maksim Chmerkovskiy will not be seen on the dance floor for the competition's week 2 because of a calf injury. He will reportedly be replaced on Monday and it's not yet known whether he will be out for a few weeks or not.
