Paris Jackson allegedly felt bullied at school and suffered from depression, sources connected to the teenager told E! News in regards to the reason why she possibly attempted suicide Wednesday.

Sources said that Michael Jackson's daughter had trouble fitting in at school. Consequently, she began to feel like an outsider and wasn't happy.

"She has been complaining recently about feeling bullied at school," the insider said Thursday. "She does not have very many true friends there, and she doesn't feel like she really fits in there."

A previous source told the entertainment website on Wednesday, when Paris was hospitalized, that she and her older brother Prince were at odds. The reason for their alleged rift was because Paris had chosen to reconnect with their biological mother, Debbie Rowe, after years of separation. Katherine Jackson, her legal guardian, reluctantly supported Paris wanting to have a relationship with Rowe. However, Prince allegedly remained resistant to the idea.

"Prince has not wanted anything to do with Debbie," the insider said. "He does not understand why Paris is so intent on rebuilding the relationship. He does not feel a bond with Debbie and feels like it would betray Katherine in some way."

The insider added that the siblings could not see eye to eye. She believed Prince would come around, but he remained steadfast against her having a relationship with Rowe. Appparently, the two began fighting more and she felt alone.

"She feels if anyone would understand her wanting to have a relationship with her mom, it would be Prince," the source said.

Another source told People that the Jackson heiress was still despondent over the death of her father. The four-year anniversary of Michael's death is June 25. He died in 2009 at the age of 50.

"She misses her father greatly," the source said. "She was the center of Michael's world and it's all different now. She says that she is lonely and that she doesn't feel loved."

The publication confirmed through sources that Paris had been cutting herself in the past few months. A 911 call confirmed that Paris cut herself with a kitchen knife on Wednesday and took as many as 20 ibuprofen tablets. A partial audio of the 911 call can be heard here.

Paris is now at Southern California hospital and reportedly in stable condition.

Katherine's personal attorney, Sandra Ribera, released a statement after Paris' hospitalization. Ribera said that Paris was now physically fine.

"Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you," Robera said.
