Tamar Braxton welcomed a baby boy with husband, Vince Herbert on Thursday.

The Braxton Family Values star broke the news via Twitter, posting a picture of three blue teddy bears surrounded by flowers and balloons and wrote, "#tamartian friends HE'S finally here! #bfv #tamarandvince #theone :-)"

The 36-year-old announced her pregnancy back in March during an appearance on Good Morning America.

Us Weekly reported that during the couple's baby shower in L.A. May 5, the Love and War singer said she had been enduring a "great" pregnancy.

"I have a lot of energy. I'm always upbeat and everyone has to tell me to sit down somewhere," she said. "But I feel amazing!"

She also added that she had been receiving a lot of advice from her sisters.

"I think the one that sticks out the most is be the best mom you can be and always focus on your family first," Tamar said at the time.

Tamar's older sister, Towanda Braxton tweeted her excitement for her new nephew yesterday and revealed that Tamar gave birth on the same day as the finale of the Braxton's Family Values show.

"The #bfv finale AND @TamarBraxtonHer is a Mommie all in one night!! #epic!!" she said. "I am just so tickled that my baby sister @TamarBraxtonHer is a mommie!! I'm sooo proud!! Wait til ya'll see my beautiful nephew!!

Toni Braxton also chimed in on Twitter and wrote how happy she was. "Congratulations to my beautiful baby sister!!! I have a new nephew!!!!!! Hehe!!! I'm soooooooo excited!!!!! @TamarBraxtonHer !!!!!!!" she tweeted Thursday.

Tamar's husband, Herbert said he was excited to be starting his new family with the reality star. The couple got married in 2008.

"I'm looking forward to just love her more and being a great father to her child," Herbert said.

Tamar and Herbert currently star in the WE tv show Tamar & Vince. No word on whether or not the baby will appear on the new season, which premieres in September.
