Wendy Williams is known for being in the mix when it comes to celebrity gossip. But now, she's at the center of it as news about why Joseline Hernandez wanted to quit VH1's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is linked to the daytime talk show host.

Hernandez confirmed on Instagram that she wanted to leave the show for good after she taped the reunion special with her cast, but the reason was still unknown. Now, one insider told The Jasmine Brand it has to do with Williams and her show.

Apparently, Hernandez and her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Stevie J, were supposed to make an appearance on the talk show together.

"Stevie decided not to do Wendy with Joseline. Wendy's team canceled Joseline's appearance because they only wanted to do it with the two of them, not just Joseline."

Hernandez, allegedly, got upset and wanted the producers of the reality show to make Stevie go on Williams' show with her. But, of course, the producers don't have that kind of power. So Williams ended up canceling Hernandez's appearance because they wanted both her and Stevie.

Ultimately, Hernandez was still upset about it when it came time to tape the reunion.

"She ONLY wanted to be filmed in her dressing room and NOT on stage with the rest of the cast," an insider said. "She wanted to hand-pick who she would interact with and kept trying to dictate how she would participate."

This led to Hernandez stepping away from the show and producers letting her.

"Production and the network refused to give in to her outlandish, disrespectful behavior," the source said. "They called her bluff and let her quit."

Insiders also denied speculation that Hernandez quit because she didn't get paid enough.

"Joseline is paid VERY well," they said. "She's said it herself multiple times, 'I secure the bag.' One minute she's bragging about how much she makes and the next she's acting as if she's not being paid enough.'"

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8/7c on VH1. Keep up with Enstars for more.
