Eileen Davidson will not be appearing on the upcoming eighth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

After appearing on the Bravo TV reality series for three seasons in a full-time role, the soap star took to Twitter days ago to confirm a recent rumor regarding her potential exit from the show.

"TRUE! [Because] of my crazy [schedule at The Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives] I must step away from [The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for] now. But I might [be] popping in [to] see what the chicks are up to," she wrote. "Thanks for] the [love]."

Davidson was added to the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during the show's fifth season alongside Lisa Rinna. At the time, the ladies were brought to the series to fill the empty seats left by former cast members, Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia.

In March, after enduring a dramatic season seven reunion, Davidson spoke to TooFab about the taping.

"I'm pretty proud of myself because I'm completely shell-shocked from shooting," Davidson said the morning after taping the reunion. "I could actually not put two words together this morning. It's crazy. I actually sound halfway intelligent. I couldn't have been this clear yesterday."

"I'm not entirely sure I was successful yesterday. I can't really say anything else. You'll just have to watch," she added.

As for the drama of season seven, Eileen Davidson said that it's often quite frustrating to have people continuously talking over her in an effort to have their voices heard.

"They just say what they wanna say, especially if it's a lie. A lot of them just think the more they repeat it, that they'll somehow make it true. And it gets very frustrating, but I just always try to remain focused and centered. It's difficult. It really, really is," she noted.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will return to Bravo TV later this year for season eight.
