LaLa Anthony Jeans 2017: Carmelo Takes Drastic Step To Get Wife's Attention [VIDEO]

While split rumors for LaLa and Carmelo Anthony seemed to have died down for now, Carmelo has taken another step in hopes of winning back the affection of his wife after he reportedly fathered a love child.

His latest move involved him popping up at her special event for New York Fashion Week. She was introducing her new denim line at Lord & Taylor, Page Six reported Thursday.

“He surprised her,” one insider revealed. “He walked in with no entourage, it was totally unexpected. He stayed the entire time. He seemed happy, and she was ecstatic about her night.”

Still, it was also reported that they didn’t speak with each other too much. And they are still living separately.

“She lives in her place, He lives in his,” the source continued. “There’s still no talk of divorce. They’re taking it one day at a time. It’s possible they may repair things.”

LaLa broke her silence on the divorce rumors on The Wendy Williams Show earlier this summer.

“Not right now,” she said when Williams asked if she would be heading to divorce court. “You know, marriages are tough. It’s filled with ups and downs and we’re just going through a tough time right now. But him and I are the best of friends and our number one commitment is tour son Kiyan. We have to set an example to Kiyan. And that’s what’s most important to me.”

One insider told Hollywood Life that LaLa isn’t 100 percent against giving Carmelo another chance.

“She’s going to make him work for it,” they said. “Carmelo broke her heart, and really rocked her foundation in life. She really believed he was the one persons he could always rely on and trust. And, he broke that trust. So she’s not going to allow him back right away.”

In the meantime, Carmelo is reportedly doing everything he can to let LaLa know he’s apologetic.

“Carmelo knows he’s in the doghouse and he’s doing everything he can to make things right,” the insider added. “He’s been lavishing LaLa with gifts, beautiful jewelry and clothes and he’s even promised her that they can renew their vows if they get back together.”

Word is he has also agreed to go to counseling.

LaLa and Carmelo tied the knot seven years ago. Their son, Kiyan, is 10-years-old. Fans might remember they got an up close and personal look at the Anthony’s life on VH1’s LaLa’s Full Court Life.
