After suffering an injury during rehersal that threatened her survival on the show, Lindsay Arnold and Jordan Fisher absolutely slayed it with their performances during Monday night's (Nov. 13) semifinal episode of Dancing With the Stars.

Each one of the remaining five couples performed two dance routines to compete for their spots in the finale. For their first dance routine of the night, Arnold and her celebrity partner, who are considered as favorites to take home the Mirrorball trophy this season, performed an Argentine tango to "Brother" by NEEDTOBREATHE, inspired by his role as big brother to siblings Cory and Trinity.

The pair scored 28 points out of 30, which is great considering that Arnold had just suffered a knee injury during rehearsals over the weekend. In a pre-taped video, the pro opened up about how her knee gave out during practice and she decided to go ahead anyway but was afraid it would happen again.

"I was practicing the pro number and I literally just stepped up onto a stair and it felt like my whole leg gave out and stopped working and I thought it was just a one-time thing and then it happened a couple more times, just doing simple things," Arnold said in the video. "It's frustrating because it's the semifinals and I want to dance it with Jordan, and I just hope this doesn't stop me from doing that. That scares me."

Thankfully, for the dance couple, the injury did not get in the way of their performance and the two of them went on to deliver two of the night's best performances.

For their second performance of the evening, Fisher and Arnold perfectly recreated a jive performance set to "Proud Mary" by Tina Turner, which was originally performed by Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas in Season 22 of the hit ABC dance reality show.

Arnold and Fisher's spectacular performance earned them a perfect score of 30 out of 30 points from judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba. Goodman called Fisher's jive the new "yardstick" for rating all future jive performances while Tonioli said the performance "topped the original."

After the dance routine, Arnold revealed that she wasn't the only one who had to overcome an injury this week. Fisher also injured himself when his dancing partner accidentally scratched his eye with her nail.
