Netflix will release over 100 new movies and TV shows starting Jan. 1, 2018. Majority of the titles were originally released on various platforms years ago, but fans can also expect a slew of original projects from the popular streaming site.

Netflix Adds New Movies, TV Shows

On Jan. 1, fans of the Batman franchise could watch the original 1989 film together with the 1992 movie, Batman Returns. Three other Batman films, namely Batman & Robin, Batman Begins and Batman Forever will also be available on Netflix starting this coming New Year.

Cheerleader fans will also be delighted to know that Netflix will release all installments from the Bring It On franchise starting with the original 2000 film. This will be followed by Bring It On Again, Bring It On: All or Nothing, Bring It On: In It to Win It, and Bring It On: Fight to the Finish.

Audiences who are fond of watching love stories can now watch Love Actually, How to Lose A Guy In 10 Days, and Definitely, Maybe starting Jan. 1. Rent will also be available starting Jan. 2.

Throughout the entire month, Netflix will also be releasing its original movie, Before I Wake, original series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and Devilman Crybaby on Jan. 5.

On Jan. 19, the fourth season of Netflix's original series, Grace and Frankie, will also be available to fans. The series follows the lives of Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin), two best friends who support each other in unique ways.

Netflix is packed with a slew of original movies and series on Jan. 26. A Futile and Stupid Gesture, Dirty Money, Kavin Jay: Everybody Calm Down!, Llama Llama, and Sebastian Marcelo Wainraich will all be available for streaming or download.

The popular streaming site will close the month of January with its early release of Disney's Cars 3.

Unfortunately, if there are a number of movies and TV shows that will be released next month, there will also be a handful that will be removed from Netflix starting Jan. 1.

Netflix Cancels TV Shows

Born to Explore Season 3, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Seasons 14 to 17, Lucid Dream Season 1, Run Season 1 and Poppy Cat Season 1 will be removed from Netflix starting Jan. 1.

All six seasons of Lost will no longer be available on Netflix starting Jan. 3. On Jan. 4, Netflix will remove the first season of Madame Antoine.
