Watch out Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato also knows how to break it down and twerk.

During The X Factor auditions on Thursday in New York's Nassau Coliseum, a 29-year-old Long Island native went on stage to sing a rendition of the 1994 hit Baby Got Back by Sir Mix A Lot. The three female judges got so into his routine that they jumped off their seats and began dancing along with him.

A serious Simon Cowell didn't budge from his chair. However, Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato and Paulina Rubio were able to drag Cowell off his seat and had him join in on the fun. Lovato even took it a step further and began twerking on the British star. Her dance moves received major applause from the audience.

Despite his reluctance to dance, Cowell was impressed by the Baby Got Back rendition. Enstars reports that after the three female judges gave the contestant an excited 'yes' to move forward to the next round, Cowell also agreed.

"It's like a bachelorette party," Lovato told The New York Daily News on Wednesday about the judging panel. "The most fun that I have is just joking back and forth with the girls, and also picking on Simon."

In fact, Lovato picks on him so much she even took to Twitter to post two photos of Cowell before he became famous. In those photos, the judge is completely unrecognizable. See the throwback photos here.

While Lovato always teases Cowell on set, the judge had nothing but kind words to say about the former Disney star and the rest of the female judges.

"They're very opinionated, they're all successful, and that's the most important thing," he told the newspaper.

Before heading to New York for auditions, the X Factor judges also made stops in South Carolina and New Orleans.

Season 3 of the U.S. X Factor will premiere in the fall on FOX.
