Late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! turned steamy on Monday when actor Johnny Depp kissed the host three times.

Depp first got comfortable with the talk show host when entering the stage. Kimmel approached him with a formal handshake that Depp used it to pull him in for warm hug.

Kimmel then started off the interview by complimenting Depp, saying, "You know, you have this very handsome, this...let's be honest and say beautiful face."

Depp immediately thanked him by grabbing his face and going in for a kiss on the cheek. The crowd roared in entertainment as Kimmel started fanning himself. Depp sat back for a second just to spring back up and go for the lips. Kimmel puckered up and graciously took the kiss.

Depp swore he was done but then took it back and gave him an encore smooch. Kimmel responded like a giggly school boy, saying that was more action than he received all of high school. Depp agreed and added he a had "a thing for talk show hosts."

During the interview Kimmel asked Depp if his children-  Lily Rose, 14 and Jack, 11, - were impressed by him.

Depp said they know that he has "swallowed or sponged" most of his characters through playing with Barbie dolls. He caught himself and made sure to give a shout-out to boys' toys.

"And G.I. Joes-equal opportunity, right?" he teased. "I do wanna say something, though: I played more Barbies."

"Wow, I never realized the Supreme court decision would have such an impact on both of us really," Kimmel joked, regarding the court's recent decisions to open the door to gay marriage in California and strike down a law that barred federal benefits for same-sex couples.

The 50-year-old actor stopped by the show to promote his new film The Lone Ranger, which opens in theaters on July 3.
