Luckily for The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, her off-camera drama will temporarily come to a halt.

Access Atlanta reported Parks and the writer she filed a lawsuit against, Angela Stanton, had a hearing scheduled for July 18, but it was delayed for five months. Stanton filed a motion to delay the proceedings because she no longer has legal counsel, according to court documents obtained by the news company.

Stanton's court records show that her original attorney is no longer representing her because the lawyer worked on a "pro bono basis [for Stanton] but always with the understanding that she would secure other counsel."

Parks, an attorney herself, filed a lawsuit against Stanton for writing unflattering articles about the reality star. According to Courthouse News Service, Stanton's "excerpts" claimed that Parks is responsible for running a grand theft auto scheme. After Vibe.com published Stanton's article, titled, Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell the Truth and Shame the Devil, the famed entertainment lawyer sued Vibe.com's parent company, Vibe Holdings, in federal court for libel and defamation of character.

Parks wrote in her legal documents that Vibe.com had "actual knowledge that the accusations against the plaintiff were false prior to publication."

Parks is hard at work promoting the fall release of her book, Secrets of The Southern Belle: How To Be Nice, Work Hard, Look Pretty, Have Fun, And Never Have An Off Moment. Parks has her own Bravo spinoff, tentatively titled Rich People Problems, which will document her career. Parks didn't reveal when she would begin filming the show, however, it was revealed that Season 6 of TRHOA will began taping at the end of June.

Parks and her husband, Apollo Nida, have two children. She had their second son in Atlanta on May 8, 2013, her rep told Us Weekly The couple's first son, Ayden, is a two-year-old.
