Christiane Seidel, who made her first appearance on Boardwalk Empire in season 2, is getting ready for the upcoming season 4, one that she's excited for.

While she couldn't reveal too much information in regards to the forthcoming season, she did express her enthusiasm for the new faces that are joining the cast.

"I mean there's some amazing talent right now," she told EnStars during SELF Magazine's Rock The Summer even in New York City on July 16. "We have so many interesting, new people, which is exciting."

The actress, who had her hair in an updo and wore a white gown to the event, referred to one new cast member in particular - Patricia Arquette.

As EnStars previously reported, the 45-year-old actress will have a recurring role as Sally Wheet, a sharp Tampa speakeasy owner with affiliation to local gangsters.

Some of the other new cast members include, Jeffrey Wright, who will also appear in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Sex and the City's Ron Livingston, Brian Geraghty and The Killing's Eric Ladin.

Despite her excitement, Seidel admitted that she isn't aware of all the show's twists and turns, especially when it comes to her co-stars.

"We all don't know everything because they will not give us more information than we absolutely need for our own character," she said. "So I don't even know exactly everything that's going on."

Still, the actress is busy preparing for her role as Sigrid Mueller, an immigrant from Norway. The cheerful red head uploaded a photo on Instagram on Monday, where she is seen getting her hair and makeup done for a day of filming in Brooklyn, N.Y. at Steiner Studios.

"Sigrid getting her finger waves on," she captioned the image.

And, when she is off the set, the star also works out frequently to maintain her slim figure.

"I do boot camps," she said. "I love to work really hard but then I also like stretching and the zen state of yoga."

Season 4 of Boardwalk Empire premieres on Sept. 8.
