Brian Jarosinki was eliminated on The Bachelorette season 9 because he still had a girlfriend, and did not appear in Monday's The Men Tell All special.

His girlfriend, Stephanie Larimore, came forward to explain why he didn't make it. She told Life & Style that he couldn't attend due to his work schedule.

"It's not because he was 'scared' like some have been quoted saying," Larimore said. "He was actually looking forward to reconnecting with the friends he made on the show and giving his side of the story to what happened on air."

She also said he really wanted to apologize to Bachelorette star Desiree Hartsock.

The show's host, Chris Harrison, wrote on his Entertainment Weekly blog that he was not surprised Jaroskinki didn't attend the taping.

"I was a little surprised at just how contentious the Tell All was. Obviously I was disappointed that Brian chose not to come and face what he had done, but I wasn't at all surprised that he opted not to," he wrote. "Honestly I would have been shocked if he'd been man enough to show up."

He added, "owning up to your mistakes, and offering a sincere apology. That's just not a Brian kind of move."

Jarosinki became one of the first villains of season 9 of The Bachelorette when Larimore arrived unannounced to the Bachelor Mansion and confronted him for lying to her. She told the show's producers and Harrison that Jaroskini did not break up with her but told her he went away on a business trip when he left to film the reality show.

Harrison brought Larimore into the Bachelor Mansion in episode 3 and they together confronted Jarosinki.

"You're not telling the truth," the host told the cheating suitor.

In an emotional plea, Larimore asked Jarosinki while crying, 'Why'd you do this to me?" She ended her rant by calling him a "a lying, cheating, deceitful pig!"

Hartsock eliminated Jaroskinki at the end of the episode.
