Hugh Jackman shared an intimate bedroom secret ahead of today's release of his latest film, The Wolverine.

Jackman, 44, revealed to UK's The Sun that he has worn his Wolverine costume while being intimate with his wife.

Hackman's wife, Deborra-Lee Furness was asked what is it like living with her Australian hunk husband when he wears the costume off-camera.

"Oh my God, it's dreadful!" Lee-Furness told The Sun. "Always with the claws. I'm like, 'Mix the salad. Put them to use, come on!'" she joked.

Hackman added, "The sheets we go through..."

Hackman and Furness have been married for 17 years. The couple have two children they adopted: Oscar, 12, and Ava, 6. The family live together in New York City,

The actor, who has portrayed the Wolverine character seven times since the X-Men franchise began in 2000, revealed he was dressed as Wolverine during the 2013 Comic-Con in San Diego this month -- and no one noticed.

"I got dressed up in my full Wolverine costume. Not one person stopped me," Hackman told Yahoo!. "One guy goes, 'Eh, not bad.' And another one said, 'Whoa. Way too tall buddy.'"

He also sported the infamous beard during an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday while promoting The Wolverine. During the interview, the father of two gave parenting advice to Fallon who just welcomed his first child, a daughter, this week.

Hackman's Wolverine has received mostly positive reviews.  San Francisco Chronicle's Mick LaSalle wrote, "Somewhere along the line somebody must have had a crazy idea, that maybe for once the Wolverine required a decent script, and shouldn't rely only on action, audience goodwill and the sight of Hugh Jackman with his shirt off."

"'The Wolverine' is the first film from the X-Men universe to show Jackman to full advantage ... and his performance is in the best action tradition of strength and humor," he added.

The Wolverine arrived in theaters at midnight on Friday, July 26. Watch the latest trailer below.
