At one time SAMCRO's president, Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman) has gone from the leader of the club to a framed murderer that'lll find himself in prison when FX's Sons of Anarchy makes its long-awaited return for season 6.

According to TV Fanatic, Perlman stated that his character will be involved in the "C Story" when the program comes back. However, he's still optimistic that Clay's reputation can indeed be redeemed.

"He's out of choices, so it's not as if he's going to negotiate his way out of this or... figure out a way with his fast intellect," he said.

Taking all the turmoil surrounding Clay into consideration, the actor feels as though his character has two choices, which are to turn to God, or do something to prove his loyalty to SAMCRO.

"Do I try to put my house in order in the eyes of God, and try to do something redeemable in the eyes of the people I continue to love even though they don't love me," he said.

Sons of Anarchy is set to return for season 6 on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 10/9 p.m. Central on the FX network. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the program. Perlman's video clip can be watched below.
