The official trailer for the newest Apple TV+ series Roar is finally here, and it looks like the streamer is ready to come out with another unmissable smash-hit.

This new show is a dark comedy (which we know are all of the rage today) that will take viewers along a compellingly hilarious eight episode arc. The short series is basded off a collection of short stories by Cecelia Ahern.

Following the short story format, Roar is an anthoology series that finds its cohesive thread in themes of comedic feminism. The title, we are assuming, comes from the well-known quote, "I am woman. Hear me roar." The episodes will capture an array of different genres, including psychological horror and magical realism. This would ordinarily be considered a bit of a risk, but we know the streaming service has a knack for blending genres after the massive success of the hilarious series The Afterparty.

The trailer boasts a collection of the funniest and strangest clips we have ever seen. From photograph-eating to duck marrying, it is fair to say that this sneak peek leaves us with knots in our stomach that will only be untied (or potentially knotted even further) by watching this show.

The cast of Roar is stacked with star-power. It features powerhouse performers including Nicole Kidman, Issa Rae, Merritt Wever, Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Meera Syal, Fivel Stewart, Kara Hayward, Cynthia Erivo, Nick Kroll, Judy Davis, Alfred Molina, Daniel Dae Kim, Jake Johnson, Jason Matzoukas, Chris Lowell, Ego Nowdim, Griffin Matthews, Peter Facinelli, Simon Baker, Hugh Dancy, Jillian Bell, Bernard White, Justin Kirk, and many others.

Roar comes to Apple TV+ on April 15th.
