In his opinion, the Duke of Sussex and Prince Andrew should both relinquish their positions as Counsellors of State. They might replace the Queen if she is unable to perform her responsibilities due to sickness or travel, more so when Prince William and Prince Charles are not presently around.

Prince Andrew, Prince Harry Shouldn't Take Over

Princes Charles and William are also Counsellors of State, but Mr Eden expressed concern that they are both on royal trips, leaving Harry and Andrew free to take on the post if worse comes to worst.

"This is why #PrinceAndrew and #PrinceHarry must be stripped of their roles as Counsellors of State immediately. #royal," he said.

Eden did not mince words, saying all the bases should now be covered in preventing Prince Andrew from taking over if the Queen, because of her old age, cannot suddenly carry out her duties.

"Both Charles and William are abroad. If the Queen becomes ill, either Charles flies home or Andrew steps in - an unthinkable move for many. This is the reality of having no foolproof plan to cover all scenarios for when a 95-year-old head of state can't carry out her duties," he shared.

Harry is no longer a working royal and the Duke of York has retired from public life following the Jeffrey Epstein controversy.

Prince Andrew was able to avoid the embarrassment of testifying in a trial and saved the royal family's image by settling with Virginia Giuffre for an unknown fee.

The settlement implies Prince Andrew has not admitted guilt to Giuffre's charges that he sexually abused her three times when she was 17, which he has denied. However, this does not mean his reputation was no longer tainted.

Prince William Out on Tour

Just recently, it was announced that Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William have left Jamaica for the Bahamas, possibly their last official visit.

During the couple's stay in Jamaica, there were demonstrations outside the British High Commission in Kingston.

"Goodbye from Jamaica," tweeted Russell Myers, Royal Editor of the Mirror. She said it's likely to be the last for the couple.

On Wednesday, Prince William and Kate met with Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his wife, who expressed their gratitude for the royal visit.

Mr. Holness stated their tour was an "opportunity to address issues" despite loud demonstrations in the country's capital ahead of their visit.

Holness said despite the demonstrations, which the royals were not shielded from, their presence certainly put the issues in context and can probably lead to some resolutions.
