Simone Ashley Gives A Major 'Bridgerton' Update On Her Season 3 Status. Will She Go Back To The Ton?
Simone Ashley is not going anywhere for season three.
Simone Ashley is newly known for the incredible performance she gave as Kate Sharma in season two of Bridgerton. The Regency Era drama that captivated the attention of the modern world, kept everyone on their toes in the fresh season. This season which featured far fewer...fully intimate moments, was deemed by many to be even steamier than the first. Much of that must, of course, be credited to the actors behind the titular roles of the season, Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey.
This season's two stars, Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey, grabbed a fun selfie on the Red Carpet with their showrunner and screenwriter, Chris Van Dusen.
One of the leads from last season, Rege Jean Page, sadly did not return for another Bridgerton social-season. Many feared that Simone Ashely would face the same fate, but, according to an article on Deadline, the world has been reassured that Ashley has confirmed that she will be returning for the third season of the show. She excitedly shared:
"We're going to be back! Kate and Anthony are just getting started...In Season 2, there was a lot of push and pull between Kate and Anthony, there were complications with the family, and then they find each other towards the end. I think everything is just starting. I'd like to see Kate just let go a bit more and play more in Season 3 and kind of swim in that circle of love together. I think they both deserve it."
