Amber Heard was almost sacked from the sequel to "Aquaman."

Fans of the Warner Bros. film have petitioned to have the beleaguered actress removed from the sequel due to her defamation trial with ex-husband Amber Heard.

However, her talent agency Jessica Kovacevic testified in court this week that Warner Bros. was almost dropped from the film - but not because of the continuing legal issue.

She said that the company almost fired Heard due to her "lack of chemistry" with co-star Jason Mamoa.

The agency also addressed her career before and after meeting the 58-year-old "Pirates of the Caribbean" star, claiming that the blonde beauty should've been a huge superstar after the first "Aquaman" film made more than $1 billion following its release in 2018.

Kovacevic also addressed internet claims that Warner Bros. intended to replace Heard in her pre-recorded deposition, saying she felt the company wanted her out as Princess Mera due to the negative publicity surrounding her and Depp's court fight.

She did, however, state that Warner Bros. did not want to recruit someone who was receiving negative attention because "no one wants that relationship."

This comes after the "Rum Diaries" actress said earlier this week that she had to battle "very hard" to retain her career while battling the "Edward Scissorhands" star in court.

The mother of one stated that she had "missed the largest cinematic chance I have to date with 'Justice League,' with the potential to feature in 'Aquaman.'"

It was also the period of the divorce while he was a member of the "Justice League."

From 2015 through 2017, Depp and Heard were married.

Amber Heard allegedly gets only 10 minutes of screen time in the "Aquaman" sequel, which is set to be released next year.

Fans almost got their way when Amber Heard was almost cut from the sequel due to a Change.Org petition with over 4.2 million signatures.

Over 4 million people felt that Heard, not Depp, was the abuser.

Depp is suing Heard for slander, and the two are now in court in Virginia.

Meanwhile, Heard has filed a countersuit for $100 million. The trial is ongoing but is expected to end before the end of the month.
