Bella Thorne and Benjamin Mascol have split, multiple reports confirmed.

More than one year since they got engaged, Thorne and Mascol decided to part ways. They first teased their engagement in January 2021 before formally confirming it months later.

A source told PEOPLE that no third party was involved and that the now-ex-couple had a different reason to end their relationship.

"Bella Thorne and Benjamin Mascolo have parted ways, calling off their engagement of over a year. Their conflicting schedules led to a lot of time apart that eventually resulted in the breakup, but the two have parted ways amicably," the insider revealed.

Representatives for Thorne and Mascolo are yet to release official statements regarding their split.

Their breakup came after they worked together in the romance film, "Time Is Up." They also attended red carpet events together to promote the film, which was released in September.

"About one year ago, out of the blue, you landed like a UFO alien in my very normal Italian popstar life and f****d up all the plans I had for a outrageous Coachella weekend and summer in Ibiza and Mykonos. Safe to say this was no doubt the best thing that ever happened in my life," he said.

Mascolo also showered her with compliments, saying Thorne helped him gain confidence in the past years.

They made their relationship Instagram official in June 2019 before showing PDA during the red carpet of Thorne's directorial debut, "Her and Him," at Oldenburg's Film Festival in Germany.

In January 2021, Thorne shared a photo of Mascolo and captioned it with wedding rings, telling fans they would have a big announcement soon. Three months later, the singer divulged that the model said yes after nearly two years of dating.
