Kevin Smith witnessed something magical during Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's wedding.

After their first secret and low-key wedding in Las Vegas, Affleck and Lopez held a grander ceremony with their friends and family in Georgia.

Their closest celebrity friends attended the special event and witnessed the couple exchange "I do," including Matt Damon, Patrick Whitesell, Pia Miller, Jordan Monsanto, Jason Mewes, and Kevin Smith.

After the wedding, Smith exclusively told PEOPLE that Affleck "never looked better than he's looked his entire life" when he finally married the woman of his dreams.

While promoting "Clerks III," the director recalled seeing the 50-year-old actor looking healthy and happy during the ceremony.

"[Affleck] radiating f---ing joy as he looked down the aisle and saw the woman of his dreams coming toward him, and she radiated it right back," he said.

Smith also told everyone that the Bennifer couple is deeply in love with each other.

The director then called the celebration one of the most beautiful moments he experienced in his life ever. Although it had nothing to do with him directly, Smith said he feels warm while seeing them together.

Affleck and Lopez held their lavish wedding in the actor's 87-acre property in Georgia on Saturday evening.

For what it's worth, Bennifer worked together in the film "Gigli" in 2001. At that time, the actress was still married to Cris Judd. Thus, the public accused them of being romantic while she was still married.

A few months after recording the film, Lopez filed for divorce from Judd and reconnected with Affleck through her "Jenny From the Block" music video.

They eventually confirmed their engagement during an interview with Diane Sawyer o ABC's "PrimeTime: Special Edition."

While they had already planned to get married in 2003, they had to postpone it due to the excessive public attention they received. Unfortunately, they called it quits in January 2004 and went on to marry other people instead.
