Following the removal of mainstay Ned Fulmer, the rest of "The Try Guys" stars finally break their silence on the controversial cheating scandal.

"The Try Guys" was first formed in 2014 at BuzzFeed by then-employees Ned Fulmer, Eugene Lee Yang, Keith Habersberger, and Zach Kornfeld. The group, later on, continued their show after starting their own independent production company, 2nd Try LLC.

However, former mainstay Ned Fulmer has recently raised controversial headlines after admitting a "consensual workplace relationship" amid his departure from the "The Try Guys".

'The Try Guys' Finally Breaks Their Silence

In a recently released video statement on Youtube, stars Eugene Lee Yang, Keith Habersberger, and Zach Kornfeld reveal what led to the decision to let go of their former co-star.

Keith explained the timeline of the cheating scandal, clarifying that he and the rest of his co-stars had no idea prior to the cheating speculations.

"On Labor day weekend, multiple fans alerted us that they had seen Ned and an employee engaging in public romantic behavior. We reached out to check on that employee." Keith explained. "Ned confirmed the reports and since confirmed that this has been going on for some time, which was obviously very shocking to us and we just want you to know that we had no idea this was going on."

Keith went on to clarify that they had decided not to rush into the announcement, as they took into consideration the people who were affected by the cheating scandal, which included Ned's wife, Ariel Fulmer.

Additionally, Zach Kornfeld expressed the shock and pain that he and the rest of the team felt following the cheating scandal, and extended his apologies to disappointed fans.

"I don't know that we'll ever be able to fully articulate the pain we feel at this moment. It's hard to rewatch old videos that we love and are proud of. We're losing a friend, we're losing someone we built a company with." Zach expressed in their joint statement. "I'm sure many of you feel the same way. It's weird. We're sorry that this ever happened."

"The Try Guys" Moving Forward

Eugene Lee Yang also noted that Ned's actions had been in contrast to the values of their team and company, thus, the three of them signed a written consent as members of their company on September 16th. The agreement ultimately finalized the removal of Ned as a manager and employee of Second Try LLC.

After engaging with lawyers and PR managers, the team also conducted a thorough review of Ned's conduct with an HR professional, of which they could not explicitly disclose the results.

Moving forward, the team has been actively working on removing Ned Fulmer from "The Try Guys" releases and their merchandise sales. Their editing team has also been working to digitally erase Ned from previous videos.
