Veteran actress Jennifer Tilly unveiled her master plan to get "Bound" co-stars Gina Gershon and Joe Pantoliano in "Chucky".

Jennifer Tilly starred in the Wachowskis' neo-noir film, "Bound" alongside co-stars Gina Gershon and Joe Pantoliano in 1996. The three have gone their separate ways until this year's second season of the horror television series, "Chucky".

Tilly also gained recognition for her role as the infamous serial killer Tiffany Valentine from the "Child's Play" horror movie series and appearing in several "Chucky" films. Last year, the franchise released the television series, "Chucky", and has received positive reception from fans around the world, with the showrunners confirming a second season shortly after.

In a past Instagram post, Chucky creator Don Mancini revealed that the three co-stars would reunite the Tilly sisters for its second season.

'Bound' References in 'Chucky' Series

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jennifer Tilly revealed that Chucky creator Don Mancini had been interested in the "Bound" co-stars to guest on the series, to which Tilly had offered to call them.

"Don Mancini has always been fascinated with Bound, and there's sort of a Bound reference in a lot of the films." Jennifer Tilly explained. "Like, the end of Cult of Chucky, when I kiss Nica (Fiona Dourif), and we drive off into the horizon in a red truck, that directly emulates the ending of Bound. So Don said to me, 'Do you think Gina and Joey would want to guest star on Chucky?' And I was like, 'I'll make a phone call.'

Tilly's Master Plan in Action

During Tilly's separate call with the two stars, however, Gina and Joey had initially refused to do it until the "Bride of Chucky" star set her plan in action.

"So I made a phone call. Of course, both of them balked. [But] when I told Gina that Joey was going to do it, then Gina wanted to do it too because the two of them are so competitive, they squabble like cats and dogs, and they just want to be doing what the other person is doing." the 64 year old actress recalled.

The second season of "Chucky" first premiered in October 5th and is currently available to stream on Syfy and USA Network.
