Actor James Lastovic Found Days After He Went Missing [REPORT]
"Days of Our Lives" star James Lastovic has been found days after he was reported missing in Hawaii.
A representative for Lastovic confirmed to Variety that the actor and his roommate, Nevin Dizdari, have been found safe after his mother reported the incident.
The same statement was shared by Dizdari's sister, Emma, through Instagram Story. It turned out that the two got lost during a hike but were able to return to Hanalei Bay Resort in Kauai, Hawaii.
"My sister and James are okay, they got lost on their hike but made it back to their car and are on their way back to the resort now. Thank you everyone for reposting and helping us reach Nevin," Emma wrote.
According to Lastovic's mother, Lucienne, the two were supposed to return home to Los Angeles on Monday, but they never boarded their plane.
Before they were found, Lucienne shared an Instagram post to ask the public for help. She said that Lastovic and Dizdari were last seen on Oct. 9, 8:00 a.m. Hawaii time. Their hostess, Carrie Flanders, disclosed the information and said she saw them at the Hanalei Bay Resort.
She received the last text message from them at 1:30 p.m. that day.
The matriarch said the two informed the hostess about their plans to take a long trail hike at the Kokee State Park and asked for directions to Shipwrecks Beach.
Unfortunately, they failed to return to the resort on Sunday night. Both Lastovic and Dizdari left their belongings at the Hanalei Bay Resort, and the police have since obtained them.
It was also disclosed that they rented a black Nissan Sentra and failed to return it to Lihue Airport.
Hanalei Bay Resort and the Kauai Police Department have not commented on the incident yet, per Page Six.

After he went missing, queries about Lastovic's life and career emerged.
The actor rose to fame as a soap opera star. He appeared in "Days of Our Lives" in over 100 episodes until he left in 2020.

He also notably became part of the first season of Netflix's "Insatiable" alongside Debby Ryan. He appeared in the season's 10 episodes before making a guest appearance in the second season.
In 2021, Lastovic landed on his first movie "This Game's Called Murder." He has also been tapped to be part of the upcoming flick, "The Dog."
