More good news has come to BLINKS -- BLACKPINK fans -- Wednesday after YG Entertainment announced that a new album and a world tour are coming up after members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé successfully renewed their group contract with their longtime label.

To repay BLINKS' love and support, the quartet will reportedly resume their group activities by releasing a new album and holding a large-scale world tour with full support from YG.

Yang Hyun-suk, YG's executive producer, said in a statement per JTBC, "I'm happy to continue our relationship with BLACKPINK. In the future, BLACKPINK will do its best to shine more brilliantly in the global music market as an artist representing K-Pop, and we send unwavering support and faith in their actions."

Meanwhile, one of BLACKPINK's touring managers reportedly posted via an Instagram Story a group photo of the K-Pop girl group with the caption, "Look[ing] forward to more amazing and exciting achievements they will continue to build with @yg_ent_official."

As of press time, BLACKPINK is dominating the top trends list on X with over 368,000 tweets. BLINKS from all over the world are celebrating the good news they received about their favorite idol group.

"B----, today is the best day of my f---ing life," one fan tweeted, while another quipped, "Today is my new birthday."

"Life is life-ing again. I found purpose. God is good. Save your tears. Hello from the other side. I love you, BLACKPINK," wrote a third fan.

"Excuse me, I'm [going to] die out of happiness [right now]. I'm not even kidding. I've never been this happy," tweeted another happy BLINK.

Before the announcement of BLACKPINK's new album and upcoming world tour, YG Entertainment confirmed that all four members successfully renewed their group contract.

The entertainment company reportedly said, "We have successfully reached an agreement within our board of directors regarding the signing of our exclusive group contracts for all four members of BLACKPINK, our esteemed artists."

This great news for BLINKS follows YG's previous announcement in mid-November, saying nothing was confirmed regarding the contract renewal since discussions with the members were still ongoing.

However, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé's individual contracts are still being discussed, per Korea JoongAng Daily. This means that there are possibilities that the members would sign with other agencies for their solo activities but continue their group activities as BLACKPINK under their exclusive group contract with YG Entertainment.
