After months of waiting since BLACKPINK's exclusive contract with YG Entertainment ended last August, BLINKS -- BLACKPINK fans -- can now let out a sigh of relief after the entertainment company confirmed that it has successfully renewed Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé's group contract.

On Wednesday, BLACKPINK's long-time label, YG Entertainment, reportedly announced, "We have successfully reached an agreement within our board of directors regarding the signing of our exclusive group contracts for all four members of BLACKPINK, our esteemed artists."

Yang Hyun-suk, YG's executive producer, reportedly said in a statement, "I'm happy to continue our relationship with BLACKPINK. In the future, BLACKPINK will do its best to shine more brilliantly in the global music market as an artist representing K-Pop, and we send unwavering support and faith in their actions."

This great news for BLINKS follows YG Entertainment's previous announcement in mid-November, saying nothing was confirmed regarding the contract renewal since discussions with the members were still ongoing.

With this, the K-Pop girl group's fans are celebrating on X, formerly Twitter, tweeting and trending "BLACKPINK" and "BLACKPINK FOUREVER" on the social media platform.

"[It's] indeed a Merry Christmas to us #BLINKS. I can now have a good sleep for more years with you FOURever, @BLACKPINK," one fan tweeted.

"I'm in this BLACKPINK s- for life. ILY @BLACKPINK," wrote another.

BLACKPINK debuted in August 2016 under YG Entertainment with its single album "Square One," featuring the group's first hit releases, "Whistle" and "Boombayah."

Before the group's reported contract expiration with its label, the quartet held its second world tour. "Born Pink" kicked off in Seoul in October 2022 and concluded in Seoul this September.

BLACKPINK performed at sold-out concerts in Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania throughout the tour.
