Taylor Swift now has the highest-grossing music tour in history.

The superstar's "Eras Tour" officially secured its place in history by breaking the Guinness World Record for the highest-grossing music tour ever, raking in $1.04 billion in just nine months since kicking off in March, according to a Tuesday announcement by Guinness World Records.

Swift's accomplishment dethroned the previous record holder, Elton John, whose farewell concert series concluded in July, amassing $939 million over five years.

The 33-year-old pop sensation's ongoing tour became the first to reach $1 billion in revenue.

Citing data from Pollstar, Guinness World Records said 4.3 million "Eras Tour" tickets have been sold so far. The tour reportedly could earn more than $2 billion in total once the rest of the shows are played.

The "Eras Tour," which features an elaborate three-hour show, has captivated audiences globally, and the financial success extends beyond ticket sales.

Swift's accompanying concert film, showcasing the live experience, has grossed nearly $250 million worldwide just two months after its release in October.

The "Anti-Hero" singer also earned a Golden Globe nomination for cinematic and box office achievement.

The award show is scheduled for Jan. 7, where Swift's competition includes notable films such as "Barbie," "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," and "John Wick: Chapter 4."

Swift's journey to this milestone began two years ago with rigorous training for the tour, as she detailed in a recent interview with Time magazine.

Swift's commitment to perfection involved daily treadmill sessions, singing the entire set list out loud, and three months of dance training.

"I wanted to be so over-rehearsed that I could be silly with the fans, and not lose my train of thought," she explained.

Her latest achievement followed Bloomberg's estimation of Swift's net worth at $1.1 billion in October, solidifying her status as one of the few recording artists to accumulate a 10-figure fortune primarily from music.

According to the publication, the 53 "Eras Tour" concerts in the U.S. alone added an estimated $4.3 billion to the country's GDP.

In addition to her professional achievements, Swift's personal life has also been in the spotlight.

Recent photos surfaced of Swift sharing a tender moment with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, after the Kansas City Chiefs' game on Sunday.

Patrick Regan, Kelce's barber, shared on Instagram a snap of the pop star kissing the 34-year-old tight end on the cheek while surrounded by colorful lights.

Swift is set to continue her global tour next year with upcoming shows in Tokyo, Australia, Singapore, and Europe.
