Apart from filming movies, Alec Baldwin will reportedly be hosting his own primetime political talk show on MSNBC.

According to Mediaite, a senior source in the cable news industry revealed on Friday that the show will air on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET and will feature a lot of Baldwin's "outspoken liberal politics."

The 55-year-old actor will not be replacing any of the talk shows that are currently on now. The title of the show is still unknown. The network has not yet made an official announcement.

"We're fans of Alec, but we've got nothing to say regarding this unconfirmed report," an MSNBC source said.

Baldwin, who is married to yoga instructor Hilaria and expecting a child, has a history of expressing his political views. In 2011, he said he was "very, very interested" in running for a position.

"Looking to me to be Romney-Pawlenty...I mentioned Romney because if he can overcome the Mormon issue with the Christian right, he could win it," Baldwin tweeted during the past election.

The Blue Jasmine star has been part of the network for a couple of years now. He played the infamous Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock for seven years before the last episode aired the end of January. He also has been a frequent host of Saturday Night Live.

Baldwin's current projects include an untitled Cameron Crowe directed film with Bradley Cooper and Caught Stealing, a thriller with Patrick Wilson expected to hit theaters next year.
