Forbes recently released its annual list of the world's highest-paid models in 2013, with the No. 1 spot going to Gisele Bündchen for the seventh year in a row.

Forbes' list features a few newcomers this year, like Joan Smalls and Liu Wen, and others slipped off the list, such as Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio. The new list also includes a number of Victoria Secret models.

Bundchen came in at No. 1 with $42 million. The 32-year-old recently replaced Beyonce as the face of H&M, reportedly beat out Rihanna for Chanel and took over David Yurman from Kate Moss, according to the publication. In the same year she gave birth to daughter Vivian, her second child with quarterback husband Tom Brady.

Bundchen's earnings are seven times as much as second-placed model Miranda Kerr and a little more than Brady's $38.3 million. However, the former Victoria's Secret model is down $3 million from last year's total.

Bundchen has a partnership with Grendene, the Brazilian footwear company in which she owns a stake, and also makes earnings from her eco-friendly cosmetics company Sejaa, and multi-year contracts with campaigns such as Pantene, Oral-B and Sky HDTV.

The model has graced the cover of almost every big-name publication in the world. To only name a few, she has been on the cover of V Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Vogue, W Magazine, Vanity Fair, Allure, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan. She has been the face of numerous campaigns such as Roberto Cavalli, True Religion, Dior, Chanel and Versace.

The magazine calculated estimate earnings for all the models on the list based on editorial shoots, independent licensing ventures, spokesperson gigs and contracts from beauty and fashion companies from June 2012 to June 2013.
