Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman of 40 Days of Dating have gone M.I.A on their website for a while but promise to resume their posts on Sept. 3.

The couple still have four days to see their commitment through to date for 40 days. Walsh and Goodman have taken quite a long break since their last date which was their 36th, on Apr. 24. While we have been promised new posts on Sept. 3., there is no telling how this project will climax. Will the couple go out on their last four dates and see the relationship through till the 40th date by Sept. 6?

The duo, who were recently in the news for signing up with Hollywood talent agency CAA, were said to be "fielding interest from both film and television producers looking to use their story as the basis for a movie or TV series," according to The Wrap. Recently, Goodman talked about the new deal, the motivations behind it and what form the adaptation might take in a brief interview with Buzzfeed.

"Basically the idea of signing with CAA is we have so many inquiries and offers and all this stuff and it's super exciting," Goodman told BuzzFeed. "It's not our world, but hey, why wouldn't we be interested."

"We're evaluating next steps, whether it's a TV series, or a movie, or a book, or all of it, or two of the three," he said about what shape the adaptation might take. "We're not interested in just saying, 'OK, here, big studio, give us money and we'll just wipe our hands clean as you go make whatever you want with this concept,'" he added.

Goodman also spoke about some criticism the duo got for signing with CAA, and being labelled as sell-outs. "I think it's really funny actually, when people found out on the internet that we signed with CAA, all these people were just like, oh they're sellouts, or, oh, why does everything that's cool have to be made into a movie? I was like, I'm sure all you people watch movies right? I'm sure everyone has gone to a lot of movies that they really like," he said.
