New details have been released about Pretty Little Liars' upcoming Halloween episode.

Ian Harding, whose character Ezra was suggested to be the mysterious "A" in the summer finale, teased what fans can look forward to in the upcoming episode.

"The last Halloween episode was more Hitchcockian. This is going to play like a horror movie," Harding told TV Guide in a Tuesday report. Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troain Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) will attend a costume soiree in the episode but will have to deal with Ezra's plans for them.

"It's downright scary," Harding revealed, referring to Ezra's plans for the Liars. "It will not disappoint."

Harding also revealed to TV Guide that he kept the knowledge that he was "A" to himself.

"I lied to everybody! It was great!" he said, discussing the game-changing twist from the summer finale.

Enstars previously reported that the Halloween episode of Pretty Little Liars would be more of a standalone episode than a continuation of the events of the summer finale.

"Because of the nature of the Halloween episode, the mystery of [Ezra] doesn't move forward that much; it's a standalone episode," executive producer Oliver Goldstick told TVLine recently. Goldstick added that Ezra as "A" would still be addressed in the episode, but nothing significant would be advanced in terms of major plots.
