LaMorne Morris participated in a special online chat session and spoke to fans about the upcoming season of New Girl, for BostonGlobe.com today.

In the chat session, Morris answered some fan queries about the third season of New Girl. He revealed that they were still shooting the third season and were far from completion. "We just started shooting season 3 actually. We are four episodes in," he wrote.

When asked about what hopes he had for Winston, the character he plays on the show, Morris said that he hopes his character finds a wife in this season, going on to tease the fan who asked the question: "wait a minute! could it be you?!?!?! Molly, Will you marry me?"

Some fans were eager on pranks in the show and Morris assured them that Episode 2 would begin with pranks.

When asked who his man crush was on the show, Morris chose to pick his own character.

In a teaser released last month about predictions for Winston's character in the upcoming season, Morris had wished Rihanna would guest star on the show as his girlfriend. Winston's love interests in season 2 included Daisy (Brenda Song) and Shelby (Kali Hawk).

In the same teaser, Morris also dared to step into Schmidt's (Max Greenfield) territory by suggesting that his character should hook-up with Cece (Hannah Simone) in the next season. He revealed, "We've been playing on the idea that Winston and Cece get together."

Read Fox's official synopsis for the first episode of Season 3:

"When Nick runs into trouble with the authorities, it's Schmidt and Winston to the (possible) rescue, which may land Nick into even deeper trouble. Meanwhile, Schmidt makes a decision regarding Cece and Elizabeth (Guest star Merrit Wever), and Winston becomes obsessed with completing a puzzle."

Season 3 premieres on Sept. 17 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
