Kelly Rowland graced the cover of Shape magazine's October 2013 issue.

Rowland, 32, smiled for the camera as she shows off her well-toned body, defined abs, and sculpted shoulders while dressed in sportswear. In the issue, which hits newsstands Thursday, the singer-songwriter aired her "dirty laundry" and talks about boobs, boys and boxing. Her cover story also featured Rowland's custom workout plan created by her celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins.

Rowlands also collaborated with Jenkins in 2011 to make a workout DVD called Sexy Abs.

"Being fit makes me feel sexy. Isn't that everyone's goal when they work out, to look good naked?" she said in her interview with the magazine.

The former Destiny's Child singer and Latin superstar Paulina Rubio are the new judges on The X Factor, joining veteran judges Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato. Season 3 of The X Factor premiered Wednesday and featured Rowland being reduced to tears by contestant Lillie McCloud's performance.

"Where have you been hiding?...Every single part of this room, you touched with your voice, you blessed us all, thank you," she said.

TV Guide already has a verdict on Rowland's performance as a judge: "After judging The X Factor UK, Kelly is a pro and it shows in her composure and straightforward manner. Keep an eye on her face though to catch those less schooled, unguarded reactions."

Rowland released her last studio album, Talk a Good Game, in June.
