The newest member of the How I Met Your Mother Cast promises fans will not be disappointed with her character in the show's final season.

Cristin Miliotti, who was revealed to be playing the iconic role of 'The Mother' during the last minutes of the season 8 finale, recently sat down with TV Line, where she made promises that fans won't be disappointed with how the show handles her introduction and role this season.

"I just felt an instant connection with him from the moment we met each other," she said about her co-star Josh Radnor, who plays her eventual husband, and the father of her children, Ted. "There's an ease there. He's just the loveliest guy. So immediately, I felt very safe with him. We were making each other laugh. It was great...You can never predict. Chemistry is extremely unpredictable. And it just so happened to be there."

She also promises that there will be plenty of scenes between Ted and The Mother for fans to get excited about.

"No to sound too cryptic, but you will see a very exciting amount. We just shot an episode this week...I'm sworn to secrecy, but I think it will be such an exciting episode for the fans," she said.

Ted isn't the only one Miliotti promises The Mother has chemistry with.

"It speaks to the character's openheartedness and warmness that she immediately wins Lily over," she said. "And she's not trying. She's just being a good person. They click. I think Lily and The Mother also have a good chemistry."

Miliotti also promised that fans would not be disappointed by the relationship between The Mother and Ted at all this season.

"They will not be let down. They will totally not be let down. I will leave it at that. They're in for some really great stuff," she said.
