Fans are not the only ones who will be looking forward to General Hospital this Monday.

Stars Finola Hughes and Jason Thompson will also be excited by Monday's episode, which features the return of a character both admit to loving, that has been off the show for a little over a year-Robin.

In a promo for the episode, leaked to We Love Soaps, Robin (Kimberly McCullogh) looks to be watching a video of Patrick (Thompson's character, Dr. Patrick Drake), with Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) and Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer), from the Nurses Ball.

While watching the clip, she says "I'm coming baby. I swear it."

In a recent interview celebrating the show's 50th anniversary, both Hughes, who plays Robin's mother, Anna Devane, on the show, and Thompson talked about McCullogh's character and how it has been weird not having her there with them this year.

When fan Meghan tweeted, asking what the two actors' favorite storyline together was, Thompson answered, referring to their first scenes.

"I think when we first started it was really interesting to get to know her, playing the mother of the woman that I was in love with and trying to win, and she didn't really like me in the beginning," he said.

When fan Rosanna posed the question "Which storyline has meant the most to you and why?" over Facebook, Hughes immediately referred to one with McCullogh.

"Of course I would have to say the storyline where I just dealt...with Robin last year...my daughter, I believe to be dead," she said.

"Obviously saying goodbye to a dear, dear friend in Kimberly as she left the show, but being able to share those moments and go through it...with somebody that you personally care about...you don't get many moments like that," Thompson added.

If that promo is any indication, both will be getting to say something other than goodbye when McCullogh's character returns Monday.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2:00 p.m. on ABC.
