To the excitement of its fans, Netflix's House of Cards is close to being finished with the filming of its second season.

According to iDigital Times, the show appears as though it will be launching in February, which would make its start date similar to that of season 1.

While it hasn't been the quickest of processes, executive producer and creator Beau Willimon recently took to Twitter to confirm that there are only a couple of weeks of principal photography remaining.

Post-production on the series should take several months, which would more than likely go up until it hits the web.

The program will be looking to replicate its initial success, as it was nominated in the Best Drama Series category at the Emmys, quite the feat for a series that was mainly shown on the Internet. David Fincher managed to nab a Best Director Emmy for the pilot episode.

While no air date for House of Cards has yet to be officially determined, but the show has continually been projected to start season 2 at some point in early 2014. Be sure to keep checking back with Enstars for more of the latest news on the popular series.
