Robin Thicke's wife Paula Patton showed off her twerking skills during her Monday night appearance on the Arsenio Hall show.

The Baggage Claim actress said she still can't make out what the fuss is about surrounding Miley Cyrus' twerking on her husband during the 2013 Video Music Awards, but revealed it's still not a big deal. She even praised the Hannah Montana star for being a good twerker.

"I just didn't understand what the big deal was. I saw the performance, I came backstage and was like, 'You guys killed it!' Woke up the next morning and I had all these texts. 'I'm praying for you. You're on my mind. Do you need to talk?' What happened?'" Patton said. "I don't go on the internet because it scares me I see only see negativity. You can see ten nice comments and you only see the one bad, so I avoid it like the plague. It was this huge scandal and I don't understand."

Patton added that she's not the best twerker.

"You have to know that one butt cheek is different than the other. One's name is Jane and the other one is Jill. My butt still thinks it's one person. I know how to shimmy it. [Twerking is] a difficult thing to do," she said.

Patton then offered to show Hall her twerking skills.

The actress' new film Baggage Claim hit theaters Oct. 27 and centers around a woman (Patton) who embarks on a 30-day, 30,000-mile journey to charm a potential man into becoming her fiance in a bid to keep herself from being the oldest and only woman in her entire family to wed.
